L’indicatore è definito dal numero di eruzioni vulcaniche che hanno avuto effetti significativi in termini di interferenza con le attività antropiche nel corso dell’anno. Per quanto concerne l'anno di riferimento (2023), si registra una costante attività eruttiva per l'Etna e attività stromboliana con alcuni picchi d'intensità a Stromboli.

The indicator is defined by the number of volcanic eruptions that have had significant effects in terms of interference with human activities over the course of the year.
